“The writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who reads.”
Thanks for visiting my website!
My name is Adara Enthaler, I’m a freelance writer and editor, as well as a performance poet and arts administrator based in Wollongong, NSW,
The poetry and short fiction I write is fuelled by my zeal for honest, visceral stories, and human connection through words, and I share it through my performances as a spoken word poet around Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney.
I derive great satisfaction from helping other writers achieve the highest level of perfection in their own writing, which is why I offer my freelance editing services to independent creatives and organisations. If you’d like to enlist my services, please don’t hesitate to contact me with your enquiry through my Contact page.
For those who struggle with the writing itself, my freelance writing skills are also available. Whether you’re a student who needs help writing a job application or your independent business needs some marketing copy, I’m here to help.
I operate within the arts not just in a creative capacity, but also from behind the scenes as well, supporting non-profit arts organisations in a variety of roles from fundraising and volunteer coordination, to marketing and programming. I am currently working with the South Coast Writers Centre, Wollongong Writers Festival, Society City Collective, Enough Said Poetry Slam and Feminartsy Literary Journal.
Does that sound like a lot? Sometimes it feels like it! But I always find time to work on my own writing and take on new work from my fellow creators. You can check out my recent activities and achievements in the Portfolio, or click over to the Blog for musings on fiction and poetry writing, and life in the arts.
