Adara has hosted events across the Illawarra and Sydney for over a decade. She has been the monthly host of Enough Said Poetry Slam since 2020 and has MCd singles nights, music shows, open mics, and MCs stages every year at the South Coast Readers & Writers Festival, the Illawarra Folk Festival, and Word Travels’ Story Week.

Adara’s favourite thing in the world is having the chance to step onto the stage of an event, mic in hand, and make sure everything runs smoothly for everyone involved.

Adara puts everyone at their ease with her professional delivery, delightful authenticity and easy humour, whether they are seasoned performers, venue managers or relative novices to the literary world. She was an excellent MC for the launch of my poetry collection, creating an ambience that was warm and inclusive with a sprinkling of Adara magic! I was nervous and she supported me to overcome this and made sure the night was one of the most memorable of my life.
