Poet

As a spoken word poet, Adara has featured at events from Canberra to Western Sydney at poetry slams, writers’ festivals and folk festivals. She has read her work at International Women’s Day council events, art exhibition launches, community arts events, and more.

Her poetry is an irreverent descent into self-love and sensuality, exploring themes of womanhood, death, and love of all kinds.

In addition to performing, Adara also facilitates workshops on writing and performing poetry, and has written typewriter poetry at universities, music festivals and more.
